When It Looks Like Water Is Leaking from Under a Car

It may look like your car is leaking water, but it’s probably not a “leak.” More than likely, it’s condensation. Water will form on the outside of various parts of your car and drip on to the ground, causing the appearance that water is leaking from under the car. In the Summer, your air conditioning will do this. In our rough Birtle winters, water will drip out of the exhaust. • Orange – Transmission Fluid or Radiator Coolant
• Yellow – Radiator Coolant
• Green – Antifreeze from Water Pump, Hoses, or Radiator
• Blue – Windshield Wiper Fluid
• Dark Brown – Brake Fluid or Older Engine Oil
• Light Brown – Newer Engine Oil or Gear Lubricant
• Pink – Power Steering Fluid or Transmission Fluid
